Debugging in 2025 where DevTools Meets AI

Came back from my trip to Đà Nẵng for I/O Extended MienTrung 2025, and as always it was such a blast!

Every time I visit this city, there’s something special. This time, I/O Extended happened right when the International Fireworks Festival was lighting up the sky.

My talk on Debugging with DevTools in 2025 went better than I hoped. Even though I had almost 200 slides ready (yes, really 😅), I focused on the features that my team and the community love — the less common but super powerful ones: logpoints, changing program behavior at runtime, overriding HTTP headers and content, and more. Also got to show off some of the new AI-assisted debugging features that are starting to feel like magic.
